Let’s Make Alabama Local Again!

All my life, I have loved Alabama deeply. These past few years have been very hard for all of us, but while the hardships have brought many losses and tears, they have also brought great clarity, purpose, and passion as we wrestle with this fundamental question: who is the most responsible and qualified to make decisions for Alabamians?

It is this question that has put a fire in my heart to no longer resign the leadership of our state to career politicians, “yes men” or fair weather self-promoters. It is time for leaders to arise from the “common people” and take a stand for solutions that return the power, resources and responsibility for our lives back to us – NOT Montgomery OR D.C.
